Joyce-Zhang was such a fantastic night for heavy. One wonders how many questions go unanswered because fights aren't being made and sneaking into the mandatory shot is all that matters.
This guy is delusional - "I am the best", "I am f*cking animal". He's happy that Joyce lost to Zhang, but not happy with his pathetic victory over him. Ten years ago he fought Joyce and lost. Now he insists that because he won over Zhang who won over Joyce that he'll win over Joyce as well? He knows that boxing isn't maths, so 1+1 can result in anything. Hrgovic has to improve some aspects of his game, he still has great chance to be a top guy, but after this interview he's nothing more than a thrash talker with unvoncining performance.
Good to see him wanting to rematch Zhang. He proved to be more solid than Joyce. I really hope Hrgovic will be one of the champions, alongside with Zhang and Makhmudov.
Damn chill. Hrgy got **** on after the Zhang fight but he was vindicated with Zhangs performance against Joyce. I can understand and empathized with him. One thing I didn’t I like about this interview is he swore on his dead fathers life he’d knock Zhang out.
Totally classless. I like this guy less the more I see of him. Why not invite Zhang for the reamatch and tell Joyce he'll be back. Hey, Hrgovic, try keeping your eyes open when you're in there. It makes it so much easier to block or slip a punch...not that you have ever tried that.
All these risky no namers are upset they aren't getting fights. Whyte beats Jermaine yet AJ fights him after Hurgo beats Zhang, barely. Zhang gets Joyce. Usyk beats AJ, Charr gets Fury. It's just unfair.
Who cares about mandatory? Just make good fights. Usyk has to fight Dubois first, and then possibly Fury. Is Hrgovic just going sideline himself for 2 years and wait his turn?
Hrgovic can fight a lot of guys, but not Joyce. Bakole, Wallin, Ajagba... Joyce should fight someone with good name and return in the ring as soon as possible. Pulev would be OK with me.
