Maybe because the difference doesn't exist. In earlier eras you have guys like Rahman and Moorer becoming lineal champs and guys like Ruddock without great skillsets as top contenders. Joyce is easy to hit but so are many of his predecessors

Make it happen, I think he might be able to shock the world!

Ruddock was a hell of a lot better than Whyte, Dubois, Chisora and others.

Why do you behemoth supporters always bring in all this irrelevant stuff, it makes zero sense. So what if Frazier came in last in the 100 yard dash, what does that have to do with his in-ring athleticism? Even if he did finish last against a bunch of white dudes lol.

Fury fans know he wins all phantasy fights!! So he doesn’t need to fight Usyk . Zhang or Joshua.

Rahman, Moorer & Ruddock, although not the most skilled guys of their era, were more skilled than anyone around now except Usyk & Fury.

He sucked at every form of athleticism in a competition measuring athletic qualities in different forms from your own sport. He sucked as an athlete, odds are a female figure skater would have fared better in the competition. Its on youtube, if you want to laugh at him. Odds are his pathetic performance kept Ali from competing.

Fury won’t fight Zhang. He has become the ultimate ducker. Only fights Wilder or cans.

I still don't see how this has anything to do with how he performed in the ring. Can you show me a fight where Joe is un-athletic looking?

Want to see an athletic guy from the time? Try Jim Brown. Twice the athlete of Ali and Frazier combined. Even in the fifties and sixties the best athletes went to other sports. Brown was an all American At Track and Field and Lacrosse and averaged 11.3 points on his college Basketball team, aside from being perhaps the best football player to ever live.

I've never seen Frazier described as slow & plodding. He certainly doesn't look slow & plodding to me, can you point to a specific fight that he looks slow & plodding in?

It's true that it generally took Frazier the first couple of rounds to really get smoking, but he never looked as you've described him, even in the early rounds.

This is the first time I've ever heard Frazier described as slow & plodding in all my years as a fight fan. Oh well, you see what you see I guess.
