This is what happens when the best fight each other. One loss isn't enough to discount an entire career.

Sadly instead of fighting multiple times a year against the best, they want to protect that zero once a year against bums. As the guys get bigger and more powerful and the peds get much better, their chins probably can't stand up to 4-5 fights a year against good opponents.

    Foreman & who?

And Frazier was chubby? What does weighing 205 matter when most of these guys will be swinging at air?

You are right about their rotting skills, although many of the top HWs have very little to lose in that regard. They just flat out cannot fight as well as a true ATG like Frazier.

I wish it was a troll thread, I am very sad & disappointed with state of boxing these days, particularly the Hws, who are worse than any other era's.

Ken Norton beat the **** outta Frazier. As for swinging at air, Frazier wasn't fast. Nevermind, I was mistaken about Norton. Foreman beat the **** outta both of them.

Frazier wasn't the fastest of his era, but he moved his head plenty fast enough and intelligently enough to avoid the majority of the modern day, slow, telegraphed punches of the behemoths.

You're infected w/ nostalgia-itis if you think the CW to small HWs of Frazier's era could compete with 2000 to present era HWs.

"Big" G Foreman 6'3" and ~220 lbs in Frazier I destroyed Frazier easily in both fights. Before getting older prime 5'11" Frazier was under 210. Today 6'3" 220+ lb. Usyk is considered a small HW. Even in the 80s & 90s that would've been a decent sized HW. 70s & back that would be considered a big HW. Lewis, K bros, AJ, Fury, Usyk (a very talented exception to the SHWs), Wilder, and many other recent to current HWs would have almost uniformly beaten the top HWs of Frazier's era. Never mind the current HWs above, it would shock fans like yourself to see Zhang & Joyce fight your heroes from generations ago.

I've always stated that Foreman would've held up better to contemporary HWs than his peers, although he'd mostly lose too. Many fans do w/George what they do w/ other fighters. They "marry" the best of different versions of a fighter to create something that never existed. With Foreman they marry the best of Young & Old Foreman. Well Young & Old Foreman lost fights. It gets worse when fans marry the pre and post ban Ali while forgetting the clearly in decline mid 70s to 1980 version. You know, the Ali that "beat" Norton in their 1976 3rd bout :shakehead:
If people think ZZ (the new sensation, if you can use new w/Zhang) was robbed vs. Hrgovic, they haven't seen too many boxing decisions. I just gave a historic one that was worse.
