    Does it seem to anyone that in the fight Zhang Vs. Joyce did a similar thing (not the same thing) as in the fight Joyce Vs. Dubois?

    Dubois did better vs Joyce than Joyce did vs Zhang. Dubois hit Joyce at will but his eye got messed up too.

    Rewatch better the highlights Ant, he landed even left hooks on his eye and not only straights.

    Klitschko was not a southpaw but he often threw hooks with the right.

    All punches were landed on the outside, meaning they weren`t legit hooks.

    Maybe not legit but they were always hooks. For sure they werent straights, uppercuts or overhands.

    Saying that was his only chance is a stretch. Zhang hurt Joyce with a left early. Had Zhang had the gas and boxing iq, he would have jumped on Joyce at several points and stopped him outright.

    Dubois landed flush shots to Joyce's face. Joyce landed on Zhang's gloves.

    I remember watching the Joyce v Takam fight and Takam hit Joyce a few times with body shots that stopped him in his tracks and clearly hurt him. We all know how good a chin Joyce has but after the Takam fight I always thought to myself to beat him going to the body could be the key. Zhang fought well and deserved the win however it’s easy to say after the fact that he was targeting the eye. The way I see it excuse the pun is that Zhang targeted it after seeing it damaged during the fight but it was never part of his strategy/gameplan before the fight,simply put Joyce’s eye got damaged and Zhang frankly done a great job and just capitalised on it .

    No, Joyce was landing clean by Dubois landed harder shots, not all Dubois punches landed clean and he only fought in flurries.

    I listened to an interview. Zhang was going for the chin but not all punches land where intended. From the point it started to swell and cause problems he may have been going for the face/eye, especially after the Doctor was involved.

    This has got to be one of the most delusional post-fight interviews I've heard. This guy actually thinks Joyce was bossing the fight, leading on points and only lost because of a freakish injury. Being butchered by 50 power shots to the face isn't freakish.
