Fury’s on thin ice here. I understand being the big dog Alpha for negotiations, but if this mooted tourney is indeed for that Saudi black blood money he cancelled USKY wembley April 29th over, then he shouldn’t have an out.

These Saudi dons are surely paying top petroshekel the way they have everyone contractually fawn on about “the kingdom” at the pressers. Matchroom used to do this when they paid bonuses for visiting fighters teams to mention “thank you to Eddie Hearns and matchroom for welcoming us and looking after us so well. You have a lovely house.”

Fury can easily dismiss AJ, who is ducking Zhang, Hrgovic and a Ruiz rubber match to fight Frankman level bums. Fury can dismiss Wilder, simply by pointing to his adoption papers which he keeps at his home in morecambe.

Wilder USKY would be an immense fight on its own, and it wouldn’t surprise me if this gets made for December without Fury and Zhang/Joyce/Joshua. This tourney idea seems fanciful to me as a keen student of boxing geopolitics for decades. One thing which is usually true in boxing though - money talks.

Fury can bank on (a) cleaning out the division without fighting if Wilder wins by KO (b) go on to fight an USKY a year older who has been in with perhaps the hardest puncher of all times.

Wilder would be USKYs best win and beating that version of USKY would look better on Fury’s resume, but seems a pretty cynical play.

Maybe he really is wary of losing to a feather fisted cruiserweight. He has always said Steve Cunningham was a nightmare and that was when Fury was a mover, his legs are done since around the Wallin fight so maybe his team don’t want him in with a quick fighter any more. Someone on here made the connection between Fury spending more time around his Dad the past 18 months and turning into an absolute cxxt in the process. It’s possible that snide old dad has got in his ear and convinced him not to fight the cerebral yet jovial Ukranian.

john fury LOVES to talk about how he gives advice to his sons and how he knows more about boxing than top boxing trainers, yet he himself has only to my knowledge trained Tommy Fury who’s best win is an illuminati puppet YouTuber.

What does this have to do with the price of cheese?

Fury should just retire. Fighting Chisora a third time and then ducking Uysk really shows that he is shot and he knows it. Gaining and losing a hundred pounds, along with alcoholism, drug use, and a handful of tough fights against Wilder, Cunningham and Wallin have gutted him.

He's already hung around long enough to tarnish his legacy. Just quit without fighting the winner of Chisora-Whyte III, or whatever.

If Fury doesn't want to be involved as he ducking Usyk and AJ again, then give his sport to Hrgovic or Zhang.

I think they should go with someone better and more relevant than Wilder. For example, Hrgovic, Zhang, Ruiz, and Hunter all have better career wins than Wilder has ever had (you could also say this about Whyte, Joyce and Hunter as well) and would present AJ a tougher fight

According to Hearn, he could be leaving 100m on the table. For one fight.

I would fight Anthony Joshua for that money.

AJ should decline it just so Tiresome really feels the pain. He can only be hurt in the wallet. AJ should fight Ngannou instead and freeze Fairy out.

What's tiresome is the subtraction of a fighter's name for "Fairy" because you don't like him and the substitution of names for the word "pudding" for AJ's opposition by the people who don't like him. Which is the same thing.

You banned a few people and now the others are running rife doing the same thing. We did point out what was going on but you seemed to only focus on the puddings.

I see I see, you might not want to answer this but can you tell me who has let you have all the specifics on the dozens and dozens of accounts that were removed from the forum and their reason for doing so?

Is it compulsory to add ‘opinion piece’ when starting a new thread now or is it just a sign of being pretentious?

He has only one path to go - maybe not facing them all, it's too much to ask from any fighter, but 3-4 is mandatory:
    1. Usyk
    2. AJ
    3. Hrgovic
    4. Joyce
    5. Zhang
    6. Dubois
    7. Ruiz
Simple: face the tops. Are they really good - whatever they're it doesn't depend on him. For some we're yet to see what they really are. It's the same for Usyk if he wants to be remembered as heavyweight great and any kind of pro ATG with his poor number of fights.

There are probably other big names coming, but they're still inexperienced and by the time they'll eventually be the new tops, he'll be out his prime.

Usyk is already a ATG buddy.

No point to argue on that as none will convince the other.

With his behavior post-Whyte, and I am not even sure he would be ready for Joshua.
