I agree. Problem is they don't give a toss about ranking and/or mandatories. I mean it's really not that difficult is it? You fail to defend your belt against the number one in line you ought to get stripped. Foking boxing..

I’d still happily watch him fight plenty other people. Would obviously prefer he fought Usyk but that isn’t happening.
Someone like Ruiz, who is my hunch this is about, would be a fun fight.. But after the last few months of speculation it's just underwhelming.
Ruiz is a totally fine world title defence. Everyone would prefer Usyk or AJ but there are certainly worse options out there.
Ruiz is a decent heavyweight, forget his huge gut he’s got decent hands/chin/stamina and pretty exciting to watch too but fury would splatter him. Let’s be honest tho, F Fury, he bottled the Usyk fight so I won’t be paying to watch him milk the public again. He’s done it a fair few times lately (chisora again, whyte, seferi, Pianetta, wallin) all terrible fights for a man who some claim is the best ever at the weight. I’ve said it before about Fury, his defenses are worse than Kell Brooks.
Fury vs Usyk the only interesting fight he can be in. Ruiz would have been absolutely fine in December but very Mheh now. I've no interest in the AJ fight, in reality what price does Fury go off at?
Funny how Ruiz was a little fat pudding when he beat Josh. Now he's got amazing attributes and is a valid opponent. How this place changes hey!
Stylistically Ruiz is an easy nights work for Fury and it’ll be dull. Doesn’t interest me at all. Fine as a replacement for the Del Boy fight but he’s had his tune up.
