I'd like to see how this thread compares to the Benn dossier page to page. Apparently page 264 on his, is a character reference from Tony Bellew who made sure he and his family were safely home before writing it.
Eddie is very good at promoting his stable, Always had a silver tongue and can put a positive PR spin on most things, I do wonder if he's starting to think if all of this is worth it. Did he anticipate the public backlash would last this long,? Does he still think he can work his magic and turn Conor into a 'star'?
It can't help that cutting Conor loose would also make things awkward between him and Sims, the Hearn and Sims family are all very close aren't they. The Matchroom Gym, family ties and the fact he's backed him so far deep probably means he doesn't have a choice now but to try and ride it out.
