If anyone is interested Tszyu-Ryan has been uploaded. I'd never seen it until recently. Tim has certainly come a long way. This content is protected
Fights like this are what forged The Tool Train into the best Junior Middleweight on the planet. It's a different heat down here.
They replayed some Tooltrain fights on Main event last night. I settled in and watched for a little while. Interesting to see his progression from the above fight, to his massacre of Horn, to his cracking of Detroit glass. Some fighters show a lot of promise against a certain level of opposition and produce some hype. Then seem to plateau and their growth stalls once they step up. Tim really didn't seem that impressive in his early fights but each one you see a little improvement until all of a sudden he is world class fighter. You see the change in his body aswell, his muscle tone and strength. If I'm being honest with myself I would never dreamed of the fighter who fought Joel Camilleri and Dwight Ritchie being a real title threat against a guy like Charlo.
Speaking of Camilleri didnt he fight on a card on fite tv just yesterday? Neekz’s good friend Chloe Chaos got her first pro win aswell, first rd KO over some overweight girl on the undercard.
I saw Junior Tszyu spar a Queensland state champion before he had an official amateur fight to his name. I thought he had the goods then b/c he beat the crap out of him & looked like Dad doing it. Fast forward to his pro debut & my hope was that he'd become a solid B-level fighter & maybe win an alphabet belt. He's done that so the question now becomes can he go Undisputed & be an elite level fighter rather than just a solid B-level guy? I think his chances of doing so are a lot better than they were even at the beginning of the year although I'd still have Charlo as the favourite. The standard of his last start win to unify the titles was right up there. Charlo can handle a year off no problem & has done so in the past but the clock's ticking. It will be a great win for Australian boxing, not just Tim, if he reaches the top of the World. The three fights you mentioned, Wade Ryan, Joel Camilleri & Dwight Ritchie (RIP) were his key early & intermediate level development fights. His best wins are Horndog, Dennis Hogan & Tony Harrison. And of course his one & only fight in the US against Terrell Gausha was a good hit-out also. No point going over there if you're not going to face someone decent & he did. They need to sharpen him up a bit more with one more fight & then we (hopefully) get to see if Australian boxing can, once again, produce a fighter who's better than what anyone else in the world can.
Yeah he has been really busy lately JC. I didn't watch it. I really like Joel as a sports person but I don't rush to watch his fights.
davis vs garcia will be on at many pubs? only $30 ppv to watch at home though. should be a great contest yeah? who takes this?
Brock Jarvis and Jeff Fenech have parted ways. Jarvis says he wants to now campaign at middleweight LOL
shows where boxing is now. this is pretty big bout i believe. but good luck finding a non pure boxing fan here who'd know it was even on.
Maybe they reached their limit. It's a bit disheartening. I thought maybe with their exclusive deal we might see a little more regularity from them.
