The righteous fury over the fake ass , rigged , rotten to the core decisions (and refereeing ) deserve to be heard by the board. They’ve all been spot on as far as I can remember .

 

Guys - did we ever hear the details on the rehydration clause?
Garcia can only gain ten pounds by fight night or that only applies to Saturday morning .?

 

Morning for the second weigh in. It's in line with the IBF protocol as they typically do a secondary weigh in the morning of the fight when they apply a rehydration clause. Probably shouldn't be an issue.

Edit: That means he'll have the chance to rehydrate some more before fight night.

 

My gut says take the power punching southpaw with more big fight experience but realistically anything can happen.

Glad this fight is getting made.

It seems the general consensus among most sites I follow is that Garcia will get off to a good start but eventually gets walked onto something that will turn the momentum in Davis's favor. I don't necessarily see Davis allowing Kingry to completely take the play away from him early, so he might be a bit more assertive at the start. It then depends on how Garcia responds to the incoming; I think at some point he'll fight fire with fire but that might result in him getting clipped, hurt, and maybe dropped. I think Kingry can respond well and fight back, but I'm not sure if he can completely overcome the deficit that will result.

Garcia's got a nice blend of speed and power, so I wouldn't be shocked if he wins. Still, l favor Tank due to displaying superior defense and having a couple more wrinkles in his game right now. The most likely scenario for me is that this goes the distance, with Davis edging quantity vs quality match-up.

Possible. It's also possible Tank just tries to KO Garcia and drops rounds. And if Garcia banks enough rounds and doesn't get stopped, he could easily win a decision.

We'll see, I'm just hoping for a good fight.
