Gwynne v Woodruff, after their first fight, should have been main support, 2 Welsh lads going for it for the British title. Sandy Ryan is 5-1, one of the wins being an absolute gift. The absolute state of women's boxing that 5-1 gets you a World title shot.

 

Great way to kill the momentum this. Might go and snort some mayonnaise to pass the time.

 

That's the thing, you do get good women's fights and there are some quality operators, but the talent pool is so shallow. Some of the world title fights I've seen have been really bad.

I 100% agree with you, I was just saying why Matchroom probably put her as chief support. Another reason would be to boost her profile, since Gwynne and Woodruff aren’t signed to Matchroom and won’t likely fight beyond British level.
