Ryan Garcia vS Gervonta Davis was disappointing… Ryan showed nothing. After he initially was dropped by Gervonta he looked like a shadow of himself. I think he deliberately lost to avoid seriously getting hurt. does anyone else agree?
He's a decent little flashy fighter but not a lot of substance to be honest. I never saw him beating Tank.
Didn't have confidence in his chin and looked reluctant to throw or put combinations together because of Tank's counters. Different levels ultimately.
Perhaps if he was active and had real acid tests prior to stepping in their with a murderous puncher he wouldn't have lost his nerves and ran in like a wild man in round 2.
he was about to finish Gervonta... I feel that he lacked confidence and he became very desperate... I think that if he took boxing seriously he would be better than Gervonta I feel that God gave Garcia more... punching... speed of hands... reach... and I think that just hitting hard was not successful for him because if this fight were to be in the complete the fight would begin in round 2
I had no game in the fight. Main event was a good fight to me. Not great but good. The reaction I'm seeing: 1. If your a Davis Fan it was great fight. 2. If you Hate Garcia it was great fight. 3. If you hate Davis it was a let down and didn't live up to expectation. 4. If you are a Garcia fan it was a let down and didn't live up to expectation. 5. People who didn't care about either saw a good fight, where a stoppage can come from either fighter and we got the stoppage.
Wasn’t a great fight at all. A lot of tension due to the buildup. Thought there’d be more toughness displayed by Garcia, more ring IQ.
You'd think a fighter of Ryan's pedigree would get up from a body shot though, that's what disappoints me, a body shot ending it.... sad..
What is this pedigree I keep hearing about? Who exactly has Ryan beat at the top level? All I ever see is clips on how "fast" Ryan is while his chin is sticking straight up in the air.
