    On the replay, DEFINITELY the rib cage, but the part of the rib cage that is just over the liver.

    He definitely caught a piece of the liver.

    Wrong. I've boxed, and currently do box. I've been hit with a good liver shot, and I've even experienced the delayed effectiveness which is why I haven't criticized Garcia for it. A good liver shot, will have you gasping for air and if you get hit really good, you don't know what's going on, you just hear a lot of noise and see a lot of people, but can't comprehend anything and you feel like you have a hole in your lungs, not allowing any oxygen to get in there no matter how much and how hard you're breathing. Almost like a stroke (which I admittedly haven't had but seems to describe it to a tee)

    I've experienced that personally (that liver shot).

    Garcia didn't have that in his eyes. He was totally alert. Looked at the ref. Nodded his head to indicate he was fine. WAITED FOR THE REFEREE TO COUNT HIM OUT. THEN GOT UP THE MILISECOND HE DID.

    One "get off me" shot kd, and Ryan lost the will to fight for the most part, nor did he adjust his punches lower or attempt to counter when Davis started to open up more. He had a plan till he got him in the mouth, recovered then got hit in the body, and no mas.
    Lucky for him Haney & Shakur are not the heaviest handed guys but none the less, he showed weakness.

    Your liver is on your right, not the left. Body shots are paralyzing shots especially liver shots, Garcia just couldnt take it.

    All I would say is I am not writing Loma off. Not saying he will win or lose but he is a truly great fighter who has been phenomenal.
