ryan garcia was too good to be true....he's a good person and i feel like the body shot was too much for him...i think he has the punch and hand speed..jaw too but i don't know what his top in terms of boxing iq and technique that are fundamental... I think he skipped many stages and he still has a lot to learn... I feel that if he knew how to use his attributes he would have everything to destroy the tank... you see as a world champion or achieving something relevant in boxing?... it would be too much to be a handsome guy and a boxing legend just a long time I mean... probably ryan would be the only attractive boxer of all... what I'm trying to say is What would be too much of an attribute that you give to a person? Normally, nature bestows few qualities on someone... you can't be cool, have money and on top of that be talented in a sport

Didn't even read. The kid is young, very marketable, and best of all, takes dangerous fights; even bending over backwards with all the clauses just to make it happen, which quite literally NO top boxers do

I mean he can definitely win a couple of titles and all that. Is he going to be an all-time great? I did not see that from his performance tonight. I also question is heart. He showed way too much timidness

Agree. His skills are not the issue. His heart and mind are questionable.

He really needs to commit full throttle. Needs a better arsenal than a left hook.

Im not sure. I remember he once said that he wanted to retire at age 25. He doesnt seem committed to boxing. Im wondering if he just did this fight for the money because he agreed to every one of Davis's stipulations. He is like an Amir Kahn type in that his star supersedes his talent but less talnted

Jesus...he just lost to one of the best. Sure, he quit, but now he knows what the deep end feels like.

    He'll be back.

To quote George Foreman after Wlads loss to Sanders… “HE CAN COME BACK! There’s still a lot of money to be made from him!”

He's still very young at 24. So if he wants it he can bounce back.

Question is will he learn from this loss? I'm not so sure, I question how much he really wants to be a boxer, the kid has talent but talent alone isn't enough if you want to reach the very top, he has to really commit to the craft of boxing and learn to improve his technical skills.

Maybe if he's managed more carefully he can win some titles but if he's ever to reach his potential he needs to alter his mindset in regards to boxing.

He has no boxing skills other then he has fast hands-thats it. Horrible range control and almost no boxing IQ and his jab for someone that tall and with that reach is HORRIBLE.
Hes a social media creation thats it. And yes he quit because he didnt want to get laid out.

I think it also hits hard.. what surprises me is why mo fixes those technical errors?... it will be like wilder who doesn't know how to let go of his hands, I mean he doesn't have a boxing iq.... I don't know if he was born with that or it develops.. but technically it can improve a lot
