I doubt it. He is a thug who will implode at some point. Shakur has a better chance.

    No.

He'll be better known after las night, but there's still Fury, Canelo, Crawford, Spence and maybe one or two more.

I live in SoCal and hardly anyone talks about boxing. This fight had a blip in popularity, which kind of surprised me. I'm not impressed with either fighter. I'm of Mexican descent and so are most of my neighbors. There was some hype for this fight, to be able to root on a Mexican fighter. I kind of saw the writing on the wall and figured Garcia would probably get KO'd and cause some broken hearts/pride in the neighborhood. I really don't care. I want to see better fighters before I get hyped for a match up. I'm more interested in Haney vs Lomachenko.

As others have said, he's popular with the urban market in the US and sells a decent amount of tickets by US standards, and he does have a fan friendly style and produce KOs almost all of the time too. But he's a dwarf, isn't likeable or relatable to the masses, is painful to listen to when he talks (and he slurs when he speaks) and he's completely devoid of charisma and charm. Some people compare him to Mike Tyson but Mike was actually very charismatic, and despite his flaws charming and intelligent especially in the early days before he was banged up, and a good talker and interesting to listen to in interviews.

Tank is the face but Canelo still the Head …
    His days are numbered though.

if Tank wins undisputed at lightweight he Will be the undeniable face, body & H.B.I.C
    head boxer in charge.

I got two young colleagues, both in their early twenties, both from african descent, both are fight fans, including mma & kickboxing, but when it comes to boxing the main guy they care about is Gervonta Davis.
