Why would it be in terrible shape. His face is just as good as any fighter out there. Now he is not the man at 135 yet because there are two more fights he has to deal with. Shakur and the winner of Haney vs Loma. Other than that, he has the charisma and swag to be the face of boxing.

Not at all. I like Tank a lot (as a fighter), but ask the average person who he is. No one knows him.

The charisma lmao he can barely put two sentences together he has the IQ of a marble and he walks around dressed like he's auditioning for the role of " The Dude" In Big Lebowsky you think that's swag ffs. You must have very low standards.

He's an exciting fighter in the ring but charisma and swag is something he doesn't have.

What you are expressing is a personal opinon, but the fact is that interviewers enjoy talking to him. Last night they were taking selfies with him. He is easy to talk to and most people like him. Now I am sure there are haters out there but that won't matter.

Boxing doesn't really have a "face" at the moment. But if I had to make a pick I guess I would choose Canelo.

    X2.

My circle of people that talk boxing is getting smaller, that's unfortunate. The heyday of boxing in my lifetime was the 70's, it was discussed almost, or maybe even just as much, as football, baseball, etc.

Just as an aside, I wonder if boxing has ever been as big anywhere, as it was in America at the height of it's popularity here? I'm guessing somewhere between the 20's & the 40's?

In the UK, Tyson Fury is the face of boxing

In the US, Jake Paul is the face of boxing

A few years ago I would have said that tongue-in-cheek as a laugh, but this is reality now.

The face of boxing is the one guy who people (as in total casuals) automatically think of when you say “boxing”, and it’s these 2 guys: Fury and Paul.

I think Ryan still has that, people will be dying to know what his next move is. While tank is the face of boxing! His ring IQ cannot be overlooked. So same as before.
