His economy rate is excellent because he hits the target. Garcia threw a lot and missed most of the punches thrown
He does not have to throw more all he has to is connect. I doubt Tank is thinking damn Mark Ant is not happy with me because he feels I don’t throw enough.
I do think Tank is a lot more skilled than Wilder but I don’t think Garcia will achiece as much as Khan did. Garcia recuperates way better when knocked down but Khan had a lot more heart I think.
I think he looked pretty good in the leadup. Relaxed, reasonably energetic, basically the same guy we always see. It was his choice to try and squeeze down to 135. He could have easily fought at 147 instead and seen how that went for him. There's a tradeoff there and he thought it was a good one for him.
It's hard to tell how bad a fighter is hurt. It's likely he could have gotten up but would have been put right back down and he knew it. Was he hurt more than, for example, Maidana vs Khan when Maidana got up? Who knows. It's hard to gauge. This content is protected Different circumstances though.
Does anyone know the science if body blows are indeed more impactful on a dehydrated boxer? We do know a dehydrated fighter is more susceptible to head KOs.
Fair enough, I think it was the Rolly fight and Garcia`s speed that made me misjudge the skill levels here.
