Łukasz Różański vs. Alen Babic & Martin Bakole Ilunga vs. Ihor Shevadzutskyi RBR.

Last night's fight was proof there are far too many titles and no structure to them. Someone like Babic should be nowhere near a world title and wouldn't win a British area belt either, or any other title that might have an earned path to a shot.

Being caught between weights is his problem, not something for the authorities to fix. Categories like Bridgerweight and titles like interim, international, intercontinental, silver etc etc, make it more like the school sports than professional boxing. Everyone's a winner etc.

 

@Mitch87 remember when you said Babic would beat Wilder?

 

The thing is there is an argument that gaps between LHW, CW and HW are too high but they could solve that by shifting limits not creating pointless weight divisions. Wouldnt be suprised if WBC scrap it soon.

I have worked in the media world since 1993 and calculated that I have spent a total of 11 years of my life in airports, in the air, in hotels, etc. and it gets tiring.

I feel sorry for you.

 

It may well be that Babic is a colorful character, but as a boxer he is worth nothing.

If this hadn't happened last night, it would have happened in his next fight.

Sven Ottke always had "Condomi" on his body. It has been widely used in Germany over the years.

 

It doesn't work very well with a fight and then a 20 - 30 minuttes break with a lot of talk, a new fight and then again a long break...

 

To be fair my 3rd place medal for the year 4 egg and spoon race is more legit than the Bridgerweight fat cruiser title

 

There’s an app called “app in the air”. It tracks your flights. Just with KLM and BA over the last 4 years I’ve spent 6 weeks in the air (all in economy!)

 

I used to be on 6 flights a week, working in the tech conference circuit. Never again.

I think he needs to either go back to gimmick fights or be involved in domestic level clashes. Yes he's very crude but I actually find him quite entertaining at times lol but he will get his head caved in any time he steps up in class.

Agree, except the weight bit. Sewn him weight in about 14st for a HW fight. Cruiserweight is not an issue for him. As you allude to, he is just not very good. Same guy who has said in recent years, that he would knock both Hrgovic and Bakole out lol.

 

That's insane, were you not permanently exhausted? Was it different time zones etc? Genuinely interested. When I fly I'm like a whining child who has stayed up late
