Billy Nelson addressed it in this interview. Sounds like they might be thinking about taking legal action against Whyte This content is protected
Imagine Whyte and Bakole fighting in this outfit... https://cdn-blog.scorum.com/production/izge/d91cba0c6a0ff3b0
Remember that time when Martin Bakole was sat down in the crowd at a presser, minding his own business just scrolling through his phone, and Kugan Cassius walked up to him and threatened to "cave his f**king head in"? Me neither.
I remember watching Billy Nelson years ago and even back then he was giving the big talk how ready Bakole was and that was the first I heard that he was knocking so and so out in sparring. Tbh 3 years later and I think I'm buying into it, really like what I've seen of Bakole in his last few fights.
Also did anyone do a phrase count how many times he said "come upstairs then", what a weird thing to say to another dude.
Bakole was Fury's main for the Whyte fight. I bet the sparring was tougher than the Whyte fight although Fury plays with all these plodders.
The big African starches the Jamaican. Either 'upstairs', outside, or in the ring. There's only 1 or 2 more devastating uppercuts that Whyte can handle before that cracked chin shatters completely. He noticeably talks out of one side of his mouth already.....
Too high risk low reward for Dillian at this stage of his career. He was at Joyce Zhang to hype a Joe Joyce fight given that would be a big name + draw money but Joyce lost. He's also pushing for the AJ rematch. Can't see him taking a fight with Bakole.
The sense I get is Whyte is not keen on the fight with Bakole. What he really wants is the AJ rematch.
