Who beats Tank?

I thought about such fight and Devin has the style to beat him but I don’t believe his chin would hold up

 

I agree I don't think Haney is durable enough to beat tank he has the style but lacks the durability to pull it off.

 

Stevenson, Haney and Loma

 

Loma lands more shots than Haney, Devin doesn`t have the power to keep Tank off him, What a treat those fights will be.

 

I have no doubt about that though Haney will try and make it difficult until Tank gets to him but Haney needs to leave 135 pounds after the Loma fight in my opinion. Shakur may have the best chance but the big question is how he reacts when Tank gets to him. Tank is going to be very difficult to beat at 135/140 pounds.

Loma`s going to beat Haney.

 

Maybe he will after all that may be what the judges and Top Rank want. It’s Haney’s job to deny them and secure his legacy.

 

Shakur and Haney both do TBH. And I haven't seen the "slippage" yet from Loma to think he loses to Tank.

Easier said than done as Ryan Garcia just found out.

 

Honestly, I care less about who does it or if anyone can do it than I do seeing the actual fights. Tank has a big name now and is riding high after the Garcia victory. I hope he decides to become a serious fighter at 135 and faces all the top guys. Hopefully he doesn’t try to cash in by hopping back on the bum train and fighting no hopers. His next fight should be against a top LW, maybe a Cruz rematch and against the winner of Loma/Haney. We already know he can beat bums, it’s time to let him fight the top opponents at his weight. That means no more little guys moving up or bigger guys who are cherry picked for east Ws. Garcia was not a cherry pick and was a solid victory although the dehydration clause taints it a little.

 

Before the fight, I thought Gervonta Davis was the fourth or fifth best lightweight. And I still think he's the fourth or fifth best lightweight.

Devin Haney, Shakur Stevenson, Loma and Frank Martin all beat him, IMO.

Much of the West Coast boxing scene has gotten "really soft" lately. Lots of them sidle up with all these guys like Garcia and the Paul brothers and welcome them into the fold - like Mayweather did with Bieber (he was going to be a fighter, too, for a while) - because I think they believe it will get them access to more young women if they act like buddies with these guys. But these guys aren't great fighters at all. When Garcia was making videos showing how fast he could throw punches, people used to laugh at stuff like that. (I mean, did you see him throw his "blindingly fast" shoeshine flurries during the fight at all? Of course not. It's meaningless.) Before the fight, some guys on here were calling those guys Saturday generational talents. Then one body shot later, one of the 'generational talents' has had enough.

Davis is a good fighter. But he isn't a great one. He seems to have more in common with Broner than any actual greats.

But we'll see. Talent wills out at the end.

 

Haney should decision Tank.
Shakur might too. May be too early for him.

Nobody else at 135.

 

Right now, onliest thing can beat Tank is God and taxes.
