Juan Manuel Marquez's fights with Marco Antonio Barrera and Joel Casamayor are worth a watch with lots of skills involved.

Sugar Ray Robinson vs Kid Gavilan 1 & 2 sound very high skill. And they are both at the very top tier of skill.
I love Sugar Ray Leonard vs Thomas Hearns - it's remembered as a one sided boxing lesson by Hearns before he got caught but it was a really skillful back and forth with Hearns pulling away before Leonard found the finish.

Can't forget about Pernell Whitaker vs Buddy McGirt 1. Very skillful fight.

Maybe McCallum-Kalambay 2 for me. It's so smooth that it's hard to believe it's not choreographed.

Barrera v Morales 1 is a good shout
Yes it was a war, but an educated one. Back and forth defence and aggression.

I wasn't there, but I imagine Jem Driscoll v. Abe Attell falls into this category. By all accounts, Driscoll won the newspaper decision.

When it comes to heavyweights, Tillis vs Tyson gets my vote. That if I recall was the first fight Tyson ever had when he couldn’t just outmuscle his way through and had to actually utilize skill. Tillis matched him blow for blow. That was quite a fight where they both showed mastery over the basics.

Leonard threw I think 23 right hands in the first round against Benitez … and landed zero.

He came back to the corner and Dundee told him to quit throwing the right and concentrate on the left and throwing to the body.

Leonard held out a hand an arm’s length away and said, “But he’s right there!” El Radar was special, and I love watching this fight.

    What Rummy said.

The Cincinnati Cobra versus the Mongoose.

I'd sacrifice ten years of my lifespan to watch the trilogy, especially the second and the third fight.

Burley against Charles and Moore would have been reasonable if not quite involving peaks. Leonard - Welsh would have been great for it's time.

I don't personally like Roberto Duran but the amount of uppercuts he landed and threw in the first Ray Leonard fight was extraordinary!

My favourite Mike Tyson fight it shows his full array of skills and the closest we would see him go the distance in his prime with a real technician. James Tillis was a credible prospect early in his career and trained with Angleo Dundee but later became a gatekeeper and don't forget Evander Holyfield made James Tillis sit down on his stool and not get back up.
