All belts are garbage

The lineal title holds the most value which is the original title of the best fighting man. The man who beat the man and no crappy corrupt organisation can take claim to it.

 

We're eventually going to see Canelo get rewarded a belt for changing a diaper.

 

While I generally don't approve of all these frivolous belts, I do support the Jalisco belt. I just don't see why a brit should be fighting for it. This should be an all-Mejicano belt.
Isn't the WBC based out of Mexico anyways?

This is no different than old timers fighting for the NYAC belt back in the day, and we still acknowledge them as true champs, even to this day...

Mexico is a huge country, with many states, I think they should multiple belts representing each region, and those titlists could square off for some sort of national championship...and if WBC wants to take the first step in creating that, I fully support their efforts...

Wbc does make the best looking belts hands down.

 

It's more an award, not a real or defendable belt. Nothing to worry about.

 

Its just more ****ery to give Canelo, that's all it is.

 

They need a belt for everyday of the week and two belts for days that land on holidays.
