I don't think I agree with Serrano but the other four are great choices to replace the five you mentioned.

Bingo! A landed Hail Mary against Wilson Rodriguez, two losses to Ivan Robinson, a stoppage defeat against Angel Manfredy, comprehensive beatdowns from Oscar and Floyd, a trilogy against a solid professional (not a world beater) in Micky Ward, and wins against smaller men (Gamache and Dorin) is not a HOF resume. If competing in exciting fights is the criteria, I look forward to Diego Corrales's posthumous induction into the HOF.

I know he's not the most skilled but Gatti held belts in 2 divisions and I think was in 4 FOTYs which I think is a record, correct me if I'm wrong

I think that's enough to get in but certainly not the tip tier of inductees

Agreed on Gatti. He was a positive for the sport. Showed heart and toughness like no other. If you just go by wins and losses then I get it, but if you go by what the true character of the sports should be, then Gatti most definitely should be in there.

Am I wrong or is Stallone in the hall of fame. If not my mistake. If he is then where’s Marvin Hart?

I don't mind fighters getting in for popularity or excitement. It is the hall of fame, not hall of skill. We have the ever changing ATG list for ranking fighters on skill and resume.

Any hall of fame should be more about being the best of the best to do it not by just being a pretty good fighter in some entertaining fights

I mention that in my post. But it's the Hall of Fame, not the Hall of Best. If commentators and actors can be inducted because of their contribution to the sport, I have no issue with Gatti being in the hall.

Not only he lost his biggest fight against Barrera but he retired from boxing too early as well.
