No problem with him being there. Lesser fighters than him have been on the list before.

His last 3 opponents were all top 5 in his weight class. And he unified the division.

I have some serious dislike for the Charlo twins, but both of them have faced more legitimate world class contenders that Tank and Garcia have combined.

It is a weird top ten tbf, like ranking them is straighforwards for which nine you are having (probably) and then the tenth guy is just meh. You can make cases for quite a few boys. I can see why they got confused.

And that is part of the reason The Ring is becoming a joke.

In this particular case they replaced a guy who has wins over Chocolatito(2x), Cuadras and Wangek(those are some solid scalps) with someone who just beat Ryan Garcia.

He's one of the most dangerous boxers out there. So much hangs in the balance considering where his attentions lay in the ring in the near future though. He can prove it by beating the best (win). He can step up and get outclassed (win). He can play it safe and disregard the best opponents available (not win).

He has been knocking people out consistently for years displaying great ability winning world titles in 3 divisions. Yes he deserves to be in.

I would have dropped Charlo since he's been inactive, and kept Estrada.

One would think winning a trilogy against friggin Roman Gonzales would be rated higher than beating Ryan Garcia.

    Resume, not ordered within tiers:

Highest tier for #10: Kazuto Ioka, Francisco Juan Estrada

Upper tier: Artur Beterbiev, Kenshiro Teraji, Stephen Fulton, Casimero, Tyson Fury

Mid tier: Emanuel Navarette, Shakur Stevenson, Brandon Figueroa, Devin Haney, Rey Vargas, Mauricio Lara

Where does Davis rank among those guys?

I wouldn't put Tank in my top 10, but I'd also hesitate to include Charlo, Taylor, and Loma right now for different reasons. Would probably be inclined to put Teraji, Shakur, Estrada, and Haney in the bottom four positions. Also, Canelo above Bivol is pretty nuts, too. Not the greatest of p4p lists, period. Tank's inclusion, even though I disagree with it, isn't even the worst part of the list.

To be honest I think this forum gets him about right.

I don't disagree that he has exceptional talent... But P4P isn't about talent/potential, it's about accomplishment - and Tank's resume is light on star quality.

As a fan of quality fights, I want to see talented fighters being incentivised to take tough fights and show us how good they really are - IMHO overrating fighters who refuse to prove how good they are cannot do anything to encourage them to go out and prove it.

Tank is enough of a draw to make a payday worth taking for any opponent he wants to fight at this point, it's not that hard to make the fights that'd prove whether he's as good as we think he might be... the questions then are: Why isn't he? And why should we rate him P4P until he has done so?

The top 3 are the top 3 for me.

Bivol is one of the most technically brilliant boxers around.

Taylor. Just no. He still just makes me feel bad for the hard work and effort of Catterall atm.

Tank does not deserve higher accolades than Beterbiev.
