Joshua has a chance for redemption, he has to release that beast that is still somewhere inside him and knock out Wilder...
Joshua's safety first approach since Ruiz 1 has seen him improve his feet and jab which are 2 things that could trouble Wilder for a bit but he's still quite upright and doesn't attack enough which means Wilder will be able to drop the big right hand on him.
How did he tease the fight, did he have a thong on. I didn't watch because AJ clips are boring to cringe at best. The problem for AJ is that he's not the assertive fighter he once was. The aggressive pressure style was effective by Fury against Wilder, but AJ is now to cautious/timid with his punches to try it. if he fights and pussyfoots around like hid did in his last fight, that's more opportunities for Wilder to clock him and take him out. He not going to out finesse Wilder over 12 rounds. I still wanna see this fight. He supposedly said December but what year?
This is a matchup that will hopefully finally happen. Joshua can very well beat Wilder as I believe the latter is a bit weak in the chin. AJ/Wlider and Fury/ Usyk in Saudi this December.
AJ has to bring a different attitude into the ring. If he fights scared with some weak ass jabs and hugging like he did against Franklin he’s getting brutally knocked out.
Win Lose or Draw at this point in his career Joshua needs to make the biggest fights (earners) available to him so it could very well be true that he fights Wilder in December. My prediction has never changed in all the years we have been waiting for this fight to happen,so if this fight actually does take place it’s the same as always,Wilder win by brutal KO inside the first three rounds .
The aggressive pre Ruiz 1 Joshua gets rid of Wilder in a few rounds. The current timid Joshua gets sparked.
Never thought Id see it. I won't believe it until there's a press conference. And I'll be pinching myself when they're actually in the ring, fully expecting to wake up.
That's the stupidest thing he ever said. He's clearly the strongest heavyweight of this era i have no idea why he wants to turn into Floyd Mayweather or some ****. When he does what's natural to him, which is fighting, he looks great
