I love Foreman but Usyk has one of the best chins as proven against some of the best punchers in the world in amateur, semi-pro and pro fights, as well as some of the best speed and head movement that Foreman has faced, with a southpaw stance to boot.

I usually pick the proven great on this one, but I have every confidence that Usyk is headed to the pantheon.

He outlanded Chisora in 9 rounds, with one being even, and rocked him in the seventh. He stopped Bellew. The only rounds he gave up to both were the first two rounds that he gives up to almost anyone.

As for unimpressive performances, I love big George, but you understand that he has a couple of prime losses, right? To hot and cold Jimmy young and an already slowed Ali?

Ali also took tremendous body punching from Foreman, Usyk has a weakness to body punches hes been dropped from body punches before.

Ok that's about 14 votes to 3 for Foreman, put this sucker to bed.

That's fair play. I don't they they would land. As far as I know he was only droped the once by Beterbiev. It has been quite a few years since.

Yeah, and that is the argument. The reality is that with the 200 pound limit and the rehydration clauses, some of the "crusiers" that Usyk beat are much, much bigger than Frazier. Moorer, Foreman third best win, was once a LHW. So I see little difference, but again, fair play.

Foreman has awesome pathways to the body. With his brute power guys really have to look after their head too.

Fair point regarding weight but even at crusier Usyk never really beat an all time great like Foreman did

I'm not saying Usyk can't win but I'm not quite as sold on him at Heavyweight as others seem to be.

Good win over Joshua don't get me wrong, but Joshua hasn't been the same since Ruiz took his soul. And looking at Joshua's last fight, he seems to have fallen off dramatically regarding his mental state for the fight game.

Foreman was a human wrecking machine in his prime, and I'm not quite ready to favour Usyk over Foreman I want to see more evidence of Usyk at Heavyweight.

I agree, These people favoring Usyk over the likes of Foreman, Liston, Tyson, etc are premature to say the least. He looked good against Joshua but he hasn't been the same since his first bout with Ruiz (possibly before). Almost like he's scared of being hit. All we're really left with at heavyweight is a win over Tim's cousin and a rather underwhelming win against a past it Chisora.

It's been weird ever since the 1st Ruiz fight, I mean there was rumours Joshua got sparked out in sparring and was concussed coming into Ruiz fight.

No one truly knows what was going on behind the scenes, but for whatever reason Joshua seemed off in Ruiz fight. He was asking his corner for help inbetween rounds, he looked flustered confused whatever you want to call it.

But ever since that fight Joshua has not been the same mentally, as you said he seems to be scared to engage and looks passive overall.

Now I'm not saying Joshua was ever an ATG, but looking at how Joshua was KO artist in his early career. Compare that to Joshua now on how he approaches a fight, and I think it's clear for everyone to see Joshua is not the same fighter mentally.

Yeah I added the "possibly before" because he fought the fight uncharacteristically imho. Something was clearly not right with him for whatever reason. Night and day difference between this version of AJ and the one who fought Wlad.

Foreman beat great fighters because of the Schmeling paradox, where two or more fighters become great by beating each other, and conversely, losing some. Usyk was so great he did not allow that to happen though he fought some very talented fighters.
