And you think that's a lot you dummy? Tell me again he had a bigger reach than Johnson or Robinson FFS. You get your knowledge from Wiki, Quora and stupid videos from YouTube. I'm losing IQ points just by interacting with you.
Steve Robinson, Manuel Medina, Tom Johnson, Wilfredo Vasquez, Paul Ingle, Yuyani Bungu Kevin Kelley and Cesar Soto were all ring magazine ranked top 5 fighters when Hamed beat them. All but Soto were stopped. Hamed was 16-1 in world title fights. If there are fighters in history who beat more top 5 ranked fighters FWs than him, there aren't many. He lacked an elite win, but I wouldn't describe his career achievements as a joke.
Quite right Greg. The disrespect Naz gets on here is utterly ridiculous, his arrogance blinds people to his actual achievements
sorry, who? I had to look for him because I had no freaking clue about who he was. Steve Robinson. You mean this guy https://boxrec.com/en/event/6724/9918, right?, with a 21-9-1 record when they fought (lol, next to 50% defeats in his record!!). You say this guy was ranked where????? That list is freaking joke, man. You can make an argument for kelly, period (and he was a 37 yo featherweight, lol). The more I look at hamed's CV, the more of a hypejob he looks like.
Ah, I see, you underrate him due to your lack of knowledge of his opposition. Makes sense. When opinions differ, its best to defer to quantifiable, demonstrable facts. Hamed beat 8 x Ring top 5 ranked FWs. How many top 5 ranked fighters has Tank (who is an excellent fighter, btw) beaten? How many FWs in history beat 8 x fighters ranked in the top 5 at the time of their fight? P.s. Kevin Kelley wasn't 37 when he fought Naz, he was 30.
LOL, man, it's hard to underrate a guy with a 50% loss rate. I would like to watch people's comments on mayweather or canelo fighting bums with 50% losses. Regarding kelly, as I said, he is THE ONLY ONE who is not a total shame in this list. One guy. One. That's ridiculous. Is hamed your cousin?
Yes your just posting the stats without any context. How about the fact that Steve Robinson won 8 world title fights, and beat good fighters like Paul Hodkinson, Duke McKenzie, Colin McMillan. Yeah he had a rough start to his career like Freddie Pendleton did, but both men actually turned it around and happened to be pretty good world class fighters in the end.
Again no context to this post Steve Robinson won 8 world title fights, and beat good fighters like Paul Hodkinson, Colin McMillan, Duke McKenzie. Again as I said to the other poster, yes Steve Robinson had a rough start to his career but turned it around like Freddie Pendleton. You don't win 8 world title fights if your not world class.
LOL, guys, I'm not going to continue with this discussion. You are telling me that a list with guys with 50% loss ratio is top oposition. I tell you that it's not true. That's all. The names in that list SUCK . You dont agree? ok, good for you guys. As I said, I would love to see canelo fighting this kind of oposition and to read people's comments. Enjoy your nuthugging to an all times hypejob. Have you all a nice day.
You said Kelley was 37 when he fought Hamed. You were wrong. You said Steve Robinson has a 50% loss ratio. You're wrong. You're commenting on Hamed's opposition, yet had never heard of Steve Robinson. You're offering your opinion in an area where your knowledge is deficient. If you attempt to answer the 2 x questions I posed in my previous post, you may learn something.
It's nothing to do with nut hugging you just made a baseless comment, because you have no idea about Steve Robinson. Which you admitted yourself and I quote "I had no frigging clue who he was". So how in the world can you judge him if you don't even know he is ? Again I already told you he won 8 world title fights, maybe you should watch him and do some research you'd be surprised how underrated he was. And then when two posters clue you up on Steve Robinson you run away from the debate ? And accuse us of nut hugging how does that work ? Lastly I'm not even a fan of Naseem Hamed for your information, but he beat a handful of world class/ranked opponents and that is a fact.
