Tim Bradley sucked as a fighter and is a worse commentator

Bradley was a very good fighter. He just has taken too many shots on the noggin to be a good commentator.

 

Are we talking about the same boxer? I can’t remember a single fight of his that was interesting or “great action”…

I disagree.

I liked him as a fighter and like him as a commentator.
He is o e of the few comme tators today who isnt sugar coating what he says which is refreshing in this mild dont bother anyone era.
He does get too much mic time for a expert analyst position-but that is also a product of tv today.

 

I haven't heard much of his commentating but as a fighter he was unspectacular but quite solid. Very good heart, and a fair degree of skill. Although for a man of his juiced up proportions his punching power was shocking. Stemmed mostly from an unwillingness to commit his feet when throwing, I believe, which led to most of his shots being lunged from the upper body without the full body torque that produces real power.

Tim was a fantastic boxer and he has a really high fight IQ. He can break fights down really well.
But **** me is he a horrible commentator.

And that giggling that he does. He just starts giggling at times. The worst was when Fury was toying with Schwarz. ESPN and crew made a big deal about the fight and how important it was, only for Tim to accidentally laugh at how bad of a mismatch it was. He enjoyed it.
I can´t stand him at all.

 

I never really cared for him too much.
But he did give us an insane WAR vs provodinkov & technically he does hold 2 victories over 2 all-time greats vs Márquez & Paquiao .., so there is that.

he deserves some respect no matter how you feel about the guy.

 

Bradley was a solid fighter, and his heart and determination enabled him to become a champion.

Big George Foreman (Knew his stuff but was antagonistic at times)

 

Ward is Terrible. I didn't like him as a fighter but Paulie Malignaggi is by far the best around today.

 

Oh, **** no. That guy is an idiot, sucked as a fighter, and him and his whiny ***** ass voice can stay off the air as far as I am concerned.

 

He tells it like it his he doesn't follow the script that's why he was kicked off Showtime. Guys like Ward and Bradley are company man they are biased towards the home fighters and they are bland as hell. Maybe you like ass kissers I prefer guys who speak their mind even if I sometimes don't agree with what they are saying.

 

Ward always seems fair to me.
Lewis does seem a little punch drunk and lost at times. As far as Foreman being antagonistic, Larry Merchant will take you there.

The most unbearable commentator in my book is Joe Goossen. Either he’s an idiot or crazy.
