Yeah, you obviously don't get it. You can further research the Schmeling paradox. I would like to leave it between us.
The cruiserweights Usyk has beaten are as big as many heavyweights of earlier eras. I can't see why anyone would conclude those wins are irrelevant to matches with guys like Foreman and Liston. Foreman himself could probably make cruiserweight if he was so inclined. Some of the cruiserweights Usyk beat could probably have been heavyweight champions in prior eras. Do people really think someone like Gassiev couldn't beat Johannsson, Baer, Braddock, Walcott etc?
Are you referring to the "Louis-Schmeling Paradox"? (There is no such thing as the "Schmeling Paradox") If so, it appears as though you may have misinterpreted the nub of the theory and therefore misapplied it in respect to this discussion. Firstly, the "Louis-Schmeling Paradox" is an economic theory. More specifically, it is used to illustrate the optimum market conditions for the Sports Industry being dependent on well-matched competing factions, balanced with the uncertainty of outcome. The point being that this is atypical of most other industries, the ideal of which is monopoly with little to no competition. Interesting though the theory might be, it does not support some of the statements you have made here; primarily because, as an economic theory, it has no bearing on the relative 'greatness' of a fighter.
You are talking about something completely different.God for you, it just isn't the topic we are discussing.
Are you or are you not, when referring to what you have termed a "Schmeling Paradox", actually referencing the "Louis-Schmeling Paradox"? It is a simple 'yes' or 'no' question and, given that there is no such thing as a "Schmeling Paradox", a perfectly reasonable one. If you are unable to answer this question then I would confidently suggest that you do not even know what topic you are discussing.
Some classic guys just don't want to admit that "Big" George would be "Little" George nowadays. Gassiev (6'3, same as Foreman) fighting at heavy clocks in at 238lb, for instance. It's clear: these cruisers cut weight to make cruiser and are in fact even bigger than the Foreman era heavies. https://www.tapology.com/fightcente...vs-balogun-murat-iron-gassiev-vs-mike-balogun
Don't forget to put the pointy cap on while you're laughing. Carry on laughing while you watch this and tell me afterwards about how Usyk would "probably" win This content is protected
So then you know that Usyk definitely can beat Gassiev. "Probably" is your conjecture that Gassiev loses to all those other guys, which I don't think is cut and dried at all.
