Stop what? Usyks cruiserweight opponents are objectively bigger than many past heavyweight champions and top contenders. And we have plenty of cases of guys rehydrating 20 pounds in other weight divisions so a guy who fights at 220 could dry out and make cruiserweight

Based on what? Norton got destroyed by every puncher he faced. Gassiev sees like a terrible matchup for hin.

Moorer is also is suspect against punchers given he avoided all but one who knocked him out in the first round.

Cooper was a journeyman who never was able to translate his power into success against world class opponents even ones with suspect durability like Williams and to make matters worse was past his best and out of shape. Smith was totally shot when he fought Moorer.

Yes I think you can reasonably argue Gassiev is a deadlier puncher than Cooper or that version of Smith. He was the only guy to ever stop Dorticos and Wlocardczyk when those guys were close to their primes.

 

Foreman was a natural 230 pounder. If you knew **** about boxing, you'd know his camp dehydrated him severely with multi-day dry fasts which made him come in several pounds lighter than his natural weight and he was still nowhere near cruiser.

Moorer didn't face Lewis, Ruddock, Tyson, Bowe or Corrie Sanders. If Moorer had successfully taken shots from these guys and lasted the distance I would be far more sold on his durability and him beating Gassiev. That's my only point.

 

You made a blanket statement and it wasn't just. No-one is running around saying his chin is iron or trying to sell his durability one would hope.
