He should have fought Froch and Ward when he had the chance.

It takes two to make a fight. In his prime he could have shared the ring with any of the past middleweight greats & probably beaten most of them. In fact Gennadiy was never really beaten at 160. His titles were stolen by Canelo with the aid of his "friendly" judges as anyone who knows how to judge a fight would tell you Both fights with Canelo were robberies Jesse James gang would be proud of

ROFLMAO Ward was all mouth, when GGG offered to fight at 164 Ward withdrew immediately he could never have made 168 then let alone 164. Ward was one of the dirtiest fighters I have ever seen & Ive seen a lot over the years

GGG was a 160 pound middleweight he was never legitimately beaten at that weight. Ward didn't want any part of GGG Ward couldn't have made 168 when he was mouthing off. Plus he couldn't even sell out his own hometown arena when he did fight

Gatti was a FIGHTER!!!!!! not a fancy dan. He'd fight anyone anywhere any time. He never had the state Commission backing him along with his loyal Vegas judges. They won several of both Floyd & Canelo's fights for them as the boxing fans know. Gatti DESERVED to be in the HOF those two should be in the Hall of Shame!!!

    I Can appreciate the nostalgia
He was one of my favorite punching bags too
But skills in fact pay the bills.
& as for Gatti’s accomplishments they aren’t as great as Floyd or Canelos.

He should have also fought Charlo, Andrade, Lara, and Saunders. Those fights alone would have done wonders for his resume and overall historical ranking.

Everything Gatti accomplished he EARNED with his own big heart & cojones of steel while both supposed ATG like Floyd, Canelo etc decided to rely on the Vegas judges & State Commission for several of both their "wins"
I prefer to support a MAN like Gatti than two prima donnas who needed the "help" they gave them because they didn't have the cojones to do it for themselves

GGG is a HOF'er no doubt, but a MW ATG? nah his resume is too weak.

Without a doubt HOF, agreed. He's done enough to get in there at least.

I always used to think HOF = ATG when I was younger & used read the IBHOF registers all the time. Thinking back to those days, the book was packed with truly great fighters but over the years it's gotten a bit eh.
