George Foreman KO 3. In his heyday, Foreman used to come out blasting, his opponents were usually overwhelmed by the onslaught. The Foreman that had trouble with slick fighters was the post Zaire Foreman who had to lift himself off the canvas against Ron Lyle in Jan 1976 to win a sloppy KO over a punched out Lyle. Against Jimmy Young in March 1977, George tried for an early KO against a boxer who defeated Ron Lyle twice and came close to defeating Muhammad Ali who was in post Manila mode, George was outboxed and decked by Young who dragged him into the later rounds, something that Foreman was not accustomed to in his career, his lack of stamina was evident, but again this was Foreman post Zaire.

There's more than a teeny little bit of irony in this one BCS, on so many levels :D

Bring forth your evidence that (a) Foreman was significantly bigger than Usyk and (b) that Usyk is unqualified at heavyweight because of his career at cruiser. I await your arguments.

I was just trying to lighten the situation for you, a little.

    As you were.

Where we are is that you actually have nothing which I’ve proven multiple times.

I’ve also proven several points of fact that you have been flatly wrong about - as others have proven also.

The only fantasy is that you think you’re upholding your argument.

And you can’t even answer simple questions like how much do you estimate Gassiev as a CW to have weighed come fight time OR ADMIT that Gassiev isn’t even close to 6’4” - so much for your reliable “sources”.

I get it. You saying BORING = your well demonstrated inability to debate your way out of a wet paper bag. Sweet.

I'd say George was 6ft 4in in his prime, maybe 6 ft 3 3/4. I know most fighters add a half inch here and there. Although, going back to a comment earlier, unless he wears lifts, I have to state Fury is either 6 ft 9in, or very close to it. The reason i know is that my nephew interviewed him last year (he works something called Lad Bible) and I know our Joe is 6ft 7in - as he was growing we used to measure him "come on lurch, let's see how big you are now" - and Tyson looked over an inch taller.

    I estimate about 15 lb.

Pugguy "No way, he is 6'2 they're all wrong"

Fact remains: Usyk is the rough same size as Foreman and he fought the same size or bigger guys. That is the crux of the argument and there's nothing you can do about it with your "trust me bro" facts.

I'd accept a height of 6'4 for Foreman. Anything from 6'3 to 6'4 seems reasonable.

From “How TF would I know?, “something” over 200 lbs”. to an estimate of 15 lbs more, rehydrated - so you estimate 213 1/4 lb for Gassiev in respect of his match against Usyk. Are we locked in?

Foreman was a dried out 220 lb for Ali in Zaire. Naturally, Foreman could easily carry 224-226 lbs at the very least.

Pointless simply linking listings again - that’s the real yawn- and especially when you’ve typed the incorrect height for one of the links - 6’3/4”??? (It’s alright, I can read, the link stated 6’3 1/2” - a listing I was ALREADY aware of).

So bite the bullet on height, how tall do YOU think Gassiev actually is? Geeze, getting you to answer anything for YOURSELF is like pulling teeth.

AND you do know false/incorrect stats can often be replicated over and over from the one flawed source?

Boxrec lists Usyk as 6’3” - so that’s carved in stone right, why even use your OWN judgment?

So IF Usyk is 6’3”, 6’2” tops is a perfect estimate for Gassiev.

But then, there is visual evidence that Usyk himself is more like 6’2 1/2” - pushing Gassiev’s height down even lower.

But apparently you don’t have a handle on the obvious height inflations boxers are prone to - or you’re choosing to play blind to same and ignore obvious visual evidence to the contrary.

So now, in your unwavering deference to boxrec listings to name one of your “infallible” sourxes - you’re stuck between a rock and hard place seeing how Usyk is somehow taller than the “taller” Gassiev. Another contradiction in your own terms that you will likely need to ignore.

I didn’t use or imply the me song of the expression “Trust me bro” when providing evidence.

You have a chronic habit of going off point, misquoting and running with cheap tag lines sans facts.

The fact remains that ACTUAL facts remain - that is the crux - and you sure don’t like facts that don’t suit your presuppositions.

Yes, that will be pushed for next…of course Gassiev’s height cannot be diminished..…therefore Usyk’s height must go up…

Indeed. And, at this rate, we'll all be marveling at the 7' Fury in no time. :)
