Boxrec and Wiki are unlikely to have verified his height. I assume you wont contradict me when i say heights on Boxrec and Wiki can be erroneous. Haye isn't 6ft 3ins nor is Andy Ruiz 6ft 2ins, for example. Boxrec had Amir Khan 5ft 10ins and then revised him to 5ft 8.5ins overnight. By definition one of these listings is wrong.

I'm not asking for a definitive measurement and don't claim to have one myself. I'm asking for your estimates of Usyk and Gassiev's respective heights based on all available data, photos and footage.

I only ever recall seeing Usyk listed as 6ft 3ins. This, to half an inch shorter than this, looks about right given how he compares to Chisora, Bellew, AJ, etc.

Gassiev is clearly shorter than Usyk in multiple photos, videos and was apparently so during the fight.

Therefore, I estimate Gassiev as 6ft 2ins and Usyk 6ft 2.5ins to 6ft 3ins. How about you?

I hope was it was clear that I didn’t mean that I thought that the 208 lb that you provided was exaggerated - I only asked the source because I wasn’t aware that they made an “unofficial” weigh on the night of the fight.

In terms of exaggeration I was talking alleged 15 lb to 20 lb re-hydration gains. And yeah, the opponent still only came in at 197 1/2 lb himself - . 1/2 lb lighter than the official weigh in. That’s a DOUBLE banger.

 

I have another note somewhere where Usyk was 207 fight night. So Usyk doesn't put on anything amazing.

They are around the 6'3 mark, in my opinion. Possibly Usyk is taller at 6'4, since I have seen him referred to as that. In the Chisora face off Usyk is clearly at least 2 inches taller than Chisora who is listed as 6'1.
