He won’t. He has let several of his fighters fight on a variety of different platforms in the past year. It would make no sense. Smith could beat Beterbiev and if he doesn’t take the fight there is no other big fight out there for him. He likely wants a lot of money to fight but isn’t a big name himself. They could have potentially made Smith Bivol I guess as the only alternative.

I think Smith at LHW is p4p is one of the biggest punchers in the sport (Beterbiev, obviously is.) Both fighters are there there to be hit. Both are fast starters. I actually think this fights is a pick um, though whoever loses, i imo will be stopped early. I will be surprised if it goes past 4 rounds.
