If Canelo dyes his hair black does he have more of a chance against Ryder?

No and it's not even legal in most countries for a ginger man to do that.

No. He was chosen to make Canelo look good and he will.

And Plant ended sleeping on the canvas. Plus Plant had better footwork than Ryder because he knows how to box on the back foot, and he boxed on his back foot and that's what made him last so long. Ryder cannot do that, and even if he could he wouldnt.

Ryder is a top SMW? well, he can be a top SMW, why not? (it depends on the other SMWs. If the rest is trash...). What he is not is a top fighter.

:deal: Basically this ^. It is quite obvious, tbh.

I can see it being similar to the Liam Smith in that he'll give it a good go and won't be shy.... but Ryder will have to close the distance and get onto the inside to let his shots go which I think will ultimately be his downfall as Canelo will walk him onto big shots.

I never took that into consideration. There's something to that!

Don't think so, Canelo is just better in every aspect.

I do think Ryder will give as good as he's got which is enough to make it a worthwhile fight to watch as I see it likely going the distance but for me Canelo wins about 9-10 rounds.

Probably won't get up at 4am to catch it mind, does anyone know if DAZN will have the full fight on it's app on Sunday or the bank holiday Monday?

Ryder isn’t being under rated so much as people are finding reasons to hate on Canelo.

He’s a solid and top 10 guy at the weight class, but probably not gonna be able to hang with the elite (Canelo), stylistically, it does seem favorable for Canelo.

The haters think their favorite fighter needs “tune-ups”, but the fighters they hate on are supposed to fight the #1 guy every time they step in the ring.

It didn’t start with Canelo and it wont end with him.

Also on average, Canelo’s “tune-ups” are far better than what most people fight, and are generally against ranked contenders.

Plant’s footwork is not special. He just runs around, but he has no hands. Ryder can move and box, Watch Ryder-Akkawy. Ryder is a very solid fighter. He’s just not 6’2 and draining to make 168, so people don’t think he’s good even though he’s got the most exp and probably resume at 168 outside of Canelo himself.

Yes, because he comes on late, exactly ware Canelo is lacking, at least in his last fight, but beating Canelo in Mexico on this holiday weekend is nearly impossible.

Ryder beating Canelo would be absolutely hilarious. But I fear he just doesn't throw enough punches to get it done, even against a slipping Canelo.
