There's a stark difference between price and market value. The enabler attitude you guys showcase here is the reason why Fury has this megalomania about his price.

His market value is, of course, nowhere near that amount. There's a reason he has never even got close to getting a purse like that. But the Saudis want to claim the bragging rights that they staged the first undisputed HW fight in over two decades and the price for it is this: to lure the bald, cowardly ogre into fighting Usyk. They have to play on the coward's greed so he might get the pay cheque despite the danger an Usyk fight means to his artificial 0.

But this has nothing to do with Fury's actual market value. The Saudis are playing a gamble here, hoping for their investment gets a good ROI. But make no mistake: there's a reason why the Saudis confirmed Fury demanded more money just for himself in December than what they were actually planning to pay for all the purses of the whole card combined. Fury isn't worth this amount, his market value isn't that high. He can sell out Wembley - big deal. His international market value is nothing to write home about. He is not even the most marketable active HW let alone the most popular active boxer today.

If you have ever uttered any version of this sentence: "I wish this fighter would face that fighter already its been forever and they are ducking each other." you should care. It's bad for boxing in the long run.

The problem with paying bloated fat duckers like Fury a small fortune is everyone from Spence and Crawford all the way down to garbage like Campbell Hatton will be fighting bums, protecting their 0 and hoping to cash out with a big money fight following the flawed logic of "If Fury can get it, why can't I?"

This all started when people saw the kind of money Tyson and then Mayweather earned, not fully being able to deal with the fact that they weren't Mayweather or Tyson.

    Hahaha. Come on, mate.
You even included a not so subtle linguistic dig at a certain Eastern European poster, that you are, totally, not trolling

p.s. I can admittedly be a bit of a dummy. Though, I did appreciate your deliberate misuse of a contracted auxiliary verb to really drive the point home.;)

EDIT: you didn't have to delete that - it's all fun and games. I was literally trying to give you a like for the come back when the post disappeared.

If you're a native speaker, your understanding of English is poor:
    - you can tell the difference between "come back" and "comeback" yourself
    - you generalize Eastern Europe like it's all the same (even if I limit it to the Slavic languages, the Bulgarian is pretty different than all of them for reasons you won't understand, mostly because of your poor knowledge of your mother tongue)
    - the auxiliary verb is right in place, dude :ciappa:

From my experience, I can tell you when you're so low in arguments, but you want to be the greatest clown, you go with the other person's language, yet I don't pretend to be a linguistics specialist in English.
