But does Canelo really have that much fire when pressured? He is a counter puncher when he has the initiative. That is what will be interesting in this fight.
Don't think this is a major mismatch but this is the time for Ryder to surprise everyone to notify them of where he hangs & showcase all he's got or else your just going to continue hearing " i told you so" etc
Yes, I was thinking exactly that after writing all those posts. If for whatever weird reason ryder wins to canelo I'm going to look like crap. No problem, I take my chances. If I have to eat crow, I'll eat it. It wouldnt be the first time. I can deal with eating crow, but I cant deal with saying here something that I dont think. So, if I'm wrong... well... I'm wrong.
Never underestimate a man with nothing to lose and a country on his back. Im no fan of tea cup country but I remember Benn putting McClellan in a coma behind underestimating him. Canelo is a tough guy but no one is invincible.
I remember losing couple hundred quid on that fight, put monday on DJ and after the final bell I was so happy.....then I heard the score cards and instantly thought robbery.....for him and me. Thought Jacobs won 5 of the first 6 easy but hey ho guess it makes up for his robbery against Smith.
Ryder doesnt know what hes in for. Hope he got a good "Peyday". Ryder is going to have his Haugen moment tommorow night.
He has a great chin but I’m betting Big Red ends it with a body combo followed by an inside uppercut to the chin
I think he can as he's physically way stronger than L.Smith and BJS, C.Smith was obviously weight drained and Canelo has shown some vulnerability of late. Ryder certainly has the stamina, I just wonder how well he can hold up to Canelo's heavy artillery. I actually think Ryder is tailor made for Canelo but will have plenty of dog in him and at least be competitive until maybe rnds 7-9.
