9 to 1 odds is good. A bet on Ryder ain't crazy. The question mark : Is Canelo really efficient when a guy stands in front of him with pressured applied. People seem to think the styles here favor Canelo because he is a counter puncher. But he counters when he has the initiative only - when he is chasing his prey. Ryder is not a back pedal type of fighter. Look at Canelo when the guy is pushing on him, even against light handed Bivol, he was doing absolutely nothing.

Canelo struggles against speedy, mobile outboxers. I like Ryder, he's world class, but he's both a level below Canelo and also tailor made for him.
