    I can forgive Buatsi being a bit rusty but so far this is like a spar rather than a fight.

    Round 5 Stepien 10-9

    Pawel jabbing his way in, gets in, throws a hook, misses wildly. Buatsi jabbing, most of them being caught on the gloves of Pawel. A few land, Buatsi follows up and lands a few rights to the body. He clips Pawel and stuns him, goes to follow up, Pawel spins him, Buatsi backs off. Pawel seemed to shake up Buatsi with a hook late, but also doesn't follow up. Pawel lands a decent right, landing one twos. Probably enough to steal an uneventful round.

    Buatsi looking like he drank too much last night in that round, probably tired too. Pawel needs to go all out attack mode.

    49-46 Buatsi

    Buatsi's starting to put more power on his shots now, and Stepien is moving less, so Buatsi is landing more often. Stepien, other than a great displaying of angles for a second. didn't do much that round

    Buatsi is one of those fighters who is somehow worse than the sum of his parts if that makes sense, he has good technique, athleticism, power & size but somehow still struggles against opponents you'd expect him to blow out.

    I don't know if anything happened in sparring that changed his approach but he seems to be second guessing himself at times & is hesitant even when things are going his way and the openings are there

    Pawel comes out pretty active, jabbing away, Joshua lands a right,he backs off. Then he clips Pawel with two left hooks. Buatsi landing one twos to the body. Both jabbing to the body. Buatsi throws a combo, all of it lands on the forearms of Pawel. Pawel muscles his way in, they tie up, nothing happens. Buatsi back to jabbing. Buatsi loops in some right hooks. Pawel complains way too much about a beltline shot.

    Buatsi basically outpowering and outthinking Stepien now. He's starting to put it on him. Might be looking for a KO soon.
