Not easy but for sure Canelo struggles with someone that throws in flurries like Benavidez, Benavidez is also a monster compared to Canelo, almost like the Haaland of boxing, freak of nature.....uses his size and strength to walk Canelo down and stop him and uses his reach to stop Canelo working on the inside.

Just to put things in proper perspective. That "monster" could not stop a boxer Canelo stopped in the 11th.

True, ref couldv'e easily stepped in and waved it off though and he ended up taken a far worst beating.

Plant has more success against Canelo than he did Benavidez.

Same thing can be said of last night's fight.

Point is, nobody from 175 on down(with the possible exception of Beterbiev) is knocking Canelo out.

I don't think Benavidez even beats Canelo, let alone stops him.

Benavidez beats him handily when they meet, especially if it's the Canelo that turned up against Bivol or Ryder.

Canelo fairs well against the smaller guys with no power and tend to jab and slide like Plant or BJS....Benavidez will meet him dead in the center of the ring and will have Canelo tucking up far more times than he makes Benavidez tucks up.

Please quote me on this for when the time comes.

It can but forget Ryder for a minute, he doesn't enter the conversation when it's Benavidez Canelo.

I can't wait for the fight to be made, really think I'll be proven right.

I highly doubt it, in fact I think the opposite happening is far more likely. People are getting it twisted, Benavidez is NO Bivol and is incapable of duplicating that outcome. I've been a fan and a backer of Benavidez for quite some time, but he's very hittable and quite the stationary target. So I can see this literally being a toe to toe firefight, with both men taking turns teeing off on one another. The main catch being, Canelo will defend far better of the two. Now, how will David deal with Canelo landing 3 and 4 punch combos flush to his head?
