I agree with most of that. I'd however argue that at 28 he can build upon his knowledge of the game greatly with every fight, B level opposition or not. It wasn't long ago that people were calling him green and not ready for world level.

 

Yeah, we've heard it all before mate. Gausha was going to beat him. Then Harrison was going to school him. And apparently Charlo is the next one to teach him a lesson. We're told he doesn't have KO power, he's one dimensional, he gets hit too easily and so much other crap that it is water off a duck's back.

Americans are so full of themselves. Tim's old man unified the division for the first time in decades yet peruse this forum and Americans still say Kostya was overrated. And now we are copping the same again.

It's truly laughable. Less than 40% of you own a passport yet you're all armchair experts about everything. Half of you couldn't find Australia on a map.

 

None of those guys are charlo what they did is irrelevant because charlo is better than them. Not charlos fault that he's American and most of the big money fights are held here. Although I think Tim is a huge draw in Australia and could probably produce a big money fight there. As far as his father he's an atg at 140 no doubt I don't hold his loss vs Hatton against him that much but he had no business losing to cool Vince it's unexcusable.

Your argument about Kostya losing to Phillips is a nonsense. "Unexcusable?" Seriously mate? Ali lost to Spinks. Tyson lost to Douglas. Foreman lost to Jimmy Young. Duran lost to Laing. Randy Turpin beat Sugar Ray Robinson and so on. But again, for some reason one fight where Kostya lost is held over him by the ignorant as though he's a second rater. It's the biggest load of BS. I respect you saying he's an ATG though. He is and any argument put forward by anybody that he is overrated is utter garbage. The Philips loss was a blip, nothing more. And Vince was no mug.

Kostya is absolutely an ATG, he unified 140 for the first time in god knows how long. However, he never should have lost to Vince Philips but **** happens in boxing. Charlo 'how to milk every inch out of being undisputed', is definitely ducking Tim.
