Think he's just throwing mud at the wall and seeing what sticks,unfortunately he's doing it to a national audience,whereas if he was a small hall promoter he wouldn't be under as much scrutiny
I don't think okolie and buatsi are bad signings. I think whittaker is going to be a superstar in the sport as well. What he does need to do though is start matching them better. Buatsi against a pole that isn't interested in winning and getting to the final bell isn't the start he would have wanted. Okolie v billam Smith should be a good fight and buatsi v azeez should also be good. I would like to see Ben take over the British scene because hearn is signing world level prospects at the minute. We need someone to look after the British fighters and get some good all British fights. The good old days when Warren was in charge we got some good domestic dust ups. He needs to get a few of them together and get a few memorable nights. I don't see how he can go wrong with sky backing him.
I'm not saying it is a great business model,far from it,Ben shalom has been given the promotional contract for sky,yet he obviously is a bit lost as to what's best,losing Adam smith won't have helped either To be fair though,Frank Warren didn't have a national TV contract when he was in his 20s/30s,Ben shalom is learning on the job,its not ideal no but I'd rather give him a year and see if he can improve

Women’s boxing isn’t even a new thing. It was tried twice by major US promoters on 2 occasions prior to it being taken up again recently by UK promoters. The audience of boxing is 99% male it’s not hard to work out that the vastly inferior female variant isn’t going to sell. You can’t polish a turd.
The original offer was for 3 fights with Clarke being the last fight. Giving Frazer the chance to have 2 warm up fights first. So basically Fabio sitting around at british level while they build Clarke. the last offer was a one fight deal for less than he got in his last fight for the Clarke fight to prevent pursebids
