Definitely not saying he was running but he did move a lot. Yes, he pumped the jab and all but didn't necessarily make Astro pay with crisp counters. Yes, he landed some but i saw a lot of moving too.

 

What's your accepted Jab to hard punch ratio? Do five light jabs equal one hard shot? Genuinely curious here as everyone seems a little different as far as scoring goes.

Really like Haney's mindset, you can tell he wants legendary status and is willing to put in the work.

I don't think there is any ratio you can measure. How about if the jabber gets timed one or twice a round with a hard counter right? Asto didn't counter Maloney s jab even once to my eyes but I could be wrong.

Ok, let's say that Maloney was running all night and not being effective with the jab. WTF was Astro doing but merely following him around and rarely landing flush punches?

 

I dont know man. The rodriguez fight showed that he's just as incapable as astro in catchinf guys moving around the ring. He also hit rods with big shots occasionally just like astro did but didnt do much of anything else.

Unless he underwent a transformation like Tapales did im not convinced he's gonna do anything new other than wildly winging shots hoping to land a sledgehammer

Nothing. It was a very average fight despite Bradley swinging from Moloneys nuts. Astro had one chance and it was to go guns blazing, risk it all. He didn't.
