As some people here have alluded to, the problem is depth in the sport. There’s not enough talent there right now and you have women becoming world champions after about three fights and only one or two against women with winning records. I don’t care for it and usually play chess on my phone when it’s on to pass time. On the flip side, by promoting and broadcasting the sport as they currently are, in 10-15 years time the depth and quality of women boxers around might be significantly greater since more and more girls will take up the sport. So it can be seen as a worthwhile investment. I still don’t think I’d be much of a fan though, it’s just not nice seeing women beat each other up IMO.
dont care that its two women fighting, i am just not a fan of watching it, rarely is there any exciting moments, its mainly alot of punches thrown but nothing from it.
I'd imagine a heap of the female olympic medal winners could sell more tickets/ppv than plenty of highly skilled pro males in fairness.
Taylor, Serrano, Marshall, Jonas and Dubois are pretty much the only ones I bother watching if they are on, anyone else and I tend to lose concentration, go make a cup of tea or read the news until it's over.
This, only watch a select few. Rest I’ve very little interest in. I’d add a few more in like Harper Baumgartner Shields and Cameron. Ryan, Dixon, Nicholson, Courtenay all very hot chicks but need to build a better profile.
