I will be surprised if Haney loses more than 4 rounds.

He's all over the place like one of Captain Caveman's opponents who he clubbed round the back of the mind. Can't even stick to his story or back up his ridiculous dumb arguments with anything of substance.

Not at all my good man. Likewise, I hope you enjoy a really good fight and not a snore festival. And for the record, I too am hoping for the upset.

So you just watch the fights to criticize the fighters putting on a show for someone like you who then berates them. We call those, spectators. Got it.
You never boxed,/ participated in the sport, never trained a fighter but those who have DKSAB. I see where this is going.
You've actually been pretty cool about all this , and to your credit, haven't banned me yet. Doesn't mean you won't.
Like I said Mr. Knowitall. Lets just meet up after the fight. Enjoy your evening.

If you watch any Haney highlights you will see that he over swings a lot and gets away with it against opponents who don't move their head or counter. His inside game is also weak and that's why he was basically pleading Loma don't him me when I try to clinch. He also disrespected the **** out of Loma racially & by also calling him dirty and an amateur. So then, how in the hell are you going to complain, he's going to come in trying to take your head off and break ribs. If you talk **** and clinch then you can't complain.

I see Loma taking away his jab, his primary weapon with his lefty stance & head movement. Haney has not had to deal with that yet, where he could also get countered by missing with the jab. Eventually Loma will get inside and work the combos. Don't let the Kambosos performances fool you thinking he's the 2nd coming of Sugar Ray, he's not. Those were good wins but Kambosos couldn't even learn to pick up his left hand to stop getting hit flush in the face at will in 24 rounds.

Loma was very cautious with Teo, not only because of the KO power but Teo can also take you out with the hook, and has a very good jab. Loma is not going to respect Haney power like that and he has said that all Haney has is the jab. We'll see what happens as Haney has good legs but he's susceptible later in fights and that's when Loma brings it. He's also been saying that Loma is gonna be easy work and that's recipe for disaster.

I got Loma winning a decision and possibly embarrassing him in the fight. Loma will check that chin.

So... you're going to deny that what I said was 100% accurate? Call me a spectator all you want, it doesn't change the fact that in all likelihood you've accomplished nothing in this sport, like the vast majority of fighters and their shitty know nothing trainers. There's a reason why there isn't a 23,361 way tie for the top spot on Boxrec. It's because 95% of those 23,361 currently active fighters, shouldn't be the top 10,000, much less the top 100. That's because they're unskilled, untalented, incapable of making adjustments and possess a very low ring IQ. I respect anyone who puts on a pair of gloves and risks their lives in the ring, that take balls. But it doesn't mean, by virtue of stepping in the ring, that any of them have any kind of inside track or special knowledge, if they did, they'd all be special, and that's simply not the case. Case in point, go watch one of those Mayweather Channel prediction videos, the videos are literally a gaggle of idiotic buffoons vomiting out an endless stream of nationalistic crap, or them merely picking or rooting for one of their boys. There's very little common sense on display, much less insightful, well reasoned, logical, thought provoking assessments.

Even most intelligent boxers and trainers aren't immune to allowing emotional connections and personal biases cloud their judgement. So yeah, most pro-boxers and most trainers DKSAB, and I'd trust the judgement and opinions of countless posters on this site over theirs. Because at the end of the day, stock brokers end up ruining millions of clients lives yearly, because they're not as adept at understanding the market as they've been trained to be. Because the market is notoriously hard to predict, just like the outcomes of boxing matches. But people with the best gut instincts and almost elemental sage like understanding of both, based on people's wants and need, and based on how styles mesh, usually have the best reads on the situation. It's why boxers and trainers aren't charge of setting the odds for matches. Granted, a lot of oddsmakers are reflexive know nothings as well.

    Don't sweat it, man.

He's fond of claiming Lomachenko lacks " intestinal fortitude" etc when the going gets rough and yet has repeatedly cited the Lopez fight as evidence, despite the fact that Lomachenko quite visibly and deliberately operated well within Lopez's blast radius for the entire second half of that bout and literally took the fight to his bigger, stronger, harder hitting opponent.

I attempted to enlighten him at the time but to no effect.

I see some people already calling him Oldmachenko, Slowmachenko and nearly washed up. I don't buy it or believe it. 35 is not old, Arum at 90 is old. Plenty of mid 30's fighters have performed at high levels, and I believe Loma still has great fights in him. What really does a fighter in around that age is taking punishment for years or serious joint injuries such as knees & shoulders, and Loma has avoided that for the most part. It's all mental and preparation now. Older fighters need longer recovery but Loma had a chance to do that too, I expect a vintage Loma in this where he shows all his skills. The only thing tough to come back from is not giving your best effort and fighting scared, then it's time to give it up.

The most alarming thing was seeing him struggling to pull the trigger in the Ortiz fight. That's usually a sure sign that the end is near. Hopefully it was just ring rust, but we'll find out on Saturday.

Despite the fact that Haney should be the prohibitive favorite going into this fight, Loma has a real shot at pulling it out. He has twice started too late, against Salido and Lopez, so he knows he has to come in with purpose, early. And the way he roughed up the longer Nakatani proves he can handle height. Haney is no taller than most of Loma's recent competition. I think this is going to be a really interesting fight. Though Haney should probably hold a 3 to 1 edge to win the fight, Loma is a live opponent.

Yea, he needed that fight after nearly a year off to shake some rust off, I think he'll be all right Saturday. We'll see where he at mentally & physically.
