I wouldn’t say that Mike didn’t want to fight Foreman….anymore than Foreman didn’t want to fight Riddick Bowe

Sorry I do not see your logic why that shows Foreman's jab was harder.
I do not think there was much difference, but that one taught another does not show the new guy did it better.
Either in technique, or all the ambiguities that go into power.
Since Foreman was infamously dehydrated in the ring due to Saddler, does that show it sapped his strngth so Sonny hit harder?
Nah, it cost him endurance though...

You are not even saying Saddler said Foreman hit harder.
    Who ever did?

Going back to OP’s thesis, who granted Mike Tyson the sole vote in deciding who hit harder between two men he never fought?

It’s a nice debate and I’ll go with what so many said about Earnie being the hardest puncher they ever faced personally, but it’s also splitting hairs as both hit extremely hard: Maybe Shavers hit more like a wrecking ball and George hit more like a runaway cement truck … getting hit by either is not good or fun.

George was lineal heavyweight champion twice, and only rated Tyson #8 as a heavyweight.

    Thus, we reach an impasse...

Guys maybe I was hyping Tysons quote because George Forman is my favorite boxer lol. I certainly get both of your points.

Can I have a link for that interview? I know Foreman appreciates Sonny and I like to see more of him talking about Liston.

Norton's build is very impressive. I would say better than Foreman even, though we all know who steam rolled who in the 2nd round of that respective fight.

I think Norton was great, he was just continually haunted by his own horrific style in favoring his left for everything.

Liston hit harder than Foreman, especially with his left jab.
