I think Ward actually does a decent job commentating and I'm far from a fan of his.

 

Very good & complete fighter who could fight going forward, back & inside. I was a big fan of his skills, not an owe struck fanboi though.

It really sucks that we never got to see him in with Calslappy, B-Hop, G Minor, Clendroid, or even the Betterbeef who's about his age.

The knock on him is that he fought almost all his fights right here in Cali, and had home field for almost all his major bouts. The biggest test of your mental tenacity & toughness is how you perform in a hostile environment, and a huge part of being called "World" champion. He was really the anti-Usik when it comes to hunting & beating the champs on their own turfs.

 

When Andre and Tim get to their little sidebar conversations it is just brutal television. To each his own!

I loved Ward as a fighter enjoyed watching him fight. But I just saw the trailer for this and it is pretty much just him whining about not getting enough credit LOL. As Jerry Seinfeld would say "Must Miss!"
