I do worry about my N'wah Pimps weight. Every since he left Hammerfell the Sweetrolls have gotten the better of him. He mustn't let the questionable success of his favorite arena combatants get to his head.

Yes, the rbr threads here are the best on the internet.

    BUT.

Like any other place on planet Earth it is subject to groupthink. There are four or five guys here, yourself chief among them that are very very vocal on subjects x and y. I consider myself a strong character here, someone who is not afraid of (Enjoys) a ruck. But I myself was like that "I should stop posting now and leave it be" because I know the type of aggression that will emerge in defence of this position.

If i'm not sure I want to post here on nights like this - where I been posting about boxing since 2007 and moderating on and off for nearly 15 years - what are other guys who had Haney doing well thinking? You interrupted me recently in a thread in a Lounge to warn me about my intimidatory attitude because I asked a guy to explain himself. You're far, far more aggressive than that in threads like this when it goes against you and it is absolutely uncalled for. This is by your standard.

Kambosos needs another match with a world class lightweight to get a proper gauge of where he's at.

    We'll call it even then.

I may be more terrifying to them for unrelated reasons, but if that's so, it's independent of the fact that you are far, far more aggressive.

To borrow from the Stratford Bard...I think Haney had "greatness thrust upon him"...by Mr. Moretti and his colleagues.

Not really, most people are terrified to argue with you, yet speak freely with me. So that little picture you attempted to paint of me, was unmitigated bull****. I'm aggressive and argue my points, and people fearlessly argue theirs with me.

Regardless on how you scored it and if you agreed or disagreed with the decision we should all be happy that we saw the best fighters facing each other and the fight itself lived up to the hype. Haney and Loma gave the fans an entertaining show and should be respected for it.

2023 has been undoubtedly one of the best years for boxing. And the best part is that we aren’t even halfway yet and we still have some exciting fights to look forward to.

I tend to agree. But the robberies in american boxing have ruined boxing to a point that a lot of people I know won't watch it.
Ufc will continue to grow (there are robberies in that but not as bad and you can't set your watch to it like you can in american boxing)
I believe boxing in its current form will barely exist in 10-15 years at this rate

IMO it was a close but convincing win for Loma. I had it 7-5 Loma.

I was watching Youtube for reactions to the fight and from what i've seen so far the majority of people, including boxers like Paulie, Linares, Crawford, Shakur etc had Loma winning. Also judging by the post-fight reactions from the crowd the overwhelming majority thought Loma got jobbed.

I don't think that's true at all, i'm in wild rammies about this place all the time, some of them have been running so long they predate your joining the forum. Literally. They get dropped and then picked up again over the course of years but i've been absolutely thrashing it out with idiots like choklab for 12 years.

I had a quick look there at the front page for moderation, you've permabanned more people than me recently, too.
