Canzie- McLarnin 1 and Ambers 1 are two of my favorites. Of the two, I prefer McLarnin 1, though. Tony once said he should have quit after the first McLarnin fight, his performance was so good.
I absolutely love Canzi-McLarnin I ! Tony often gets overlooked today because of how revered he was during his peak years. Guys like Barney Ross simply were not considered in that pantheon of ATGs when at their best. (Loughran was always revered like Canzi, boosted by Corbett's endorsement that Tommy had perfected what Gentleman Jim himself said he'd always aspired to. Frequently, old timers disparage newer competitors, but guys like Langford and Walker greatly admired Joe Louis, and there were other such exceptions. Loughran has been blasted for drawing the color line, but Tommy later was key in helping to develop Harold Johnson.)

Pryor-Arguello 1 lived up to all of the hype and then some. So many different angles in the ring from those two boxers. Both great finishers known for stopping people.. and that's just how they fought.
I think Duran sparring me would have more combined skill then those two- with all due respect they’re relative amateurs.
Did you actually see the fight? It was a nice display of skills from both guys. Of course they’re not Duran’s level but I can appreciate modern fighters as well.
I haven’t seen it, I don’t like either guy honestly, I’ve seen both fight and I don’t believe they’re in a tier with the greats.
Calzaghe v Lacey. Joe was exceptional, against the supposed more skilful American. Hagler v Sibson. Hagler never gave Sibbo a chance. Marvin was at his peak.
