So... it doesn't bother you that even Stevenson, Hitchens, Crawford and Keyshawn Davis think you're wrong? Hey... at least you have Claressa Shields on your side.
No need to waste energy for discussions. The whole world knew Loma would lose if he doesn't KO Haney and it was a close fight And no need for Loma and his Team to be suprised. His team didn't even try to get a neutral judge, they just accepted everything
Just... no. I'm a boxing fan, had no dog in this fight, and had it 116-112 for Lomachenko. I hate boxing corruption, that's my main interest in this fight. I couldn't care less about the result if Haney was the better fighter indeed. But he wasn't. And one judge had him 116-112 Absolute farce.
I couldn't believe it when I read this so I had to go and check it out. This is absurd. How could anyone score the 10th for Haney?
He did get beat up some most likely didn't expect the 35 year old to still do that to him, now his "4 year avoidance story" would turn out to be a hidden blessing for him.
Yet that was the same Bob that okayed the three known corrupt judges along with the agenda driven promotion for the fight & weigh in time advantages for Haney, Arum still fooling his own stable of fighters now that's the real disgrace here.
However one scored the fight, the notion that only Lomachenko fans and Haney "haters" believe Loma won last night is flat out bullsh*t. Jorge Linares, for example, likes and respects both guys, and he had Lomachenko winning 7-5. Moreover, I would submit that at least half if not more of boxing fans believe Lomachenko won last night.
Is that why fans in attendance, in Haney’s home town, booed the decision? Stevenson ringside immediately stated Loma won and every poll I’ve seen favored Loma overwhelmingly. We’re fans booing because they thought Haney won by two rounds? Haney lost the fight. It’s over and will never be overturned but any objective person watching knows who won and it wasn’t Haney. Disgraceful but not surprising. Boxing is rotten.
The fight is already online for everyone to see who won. Who cares that 3 crooked american judges scored it for the american boxer.
I don't think Haney did himself any favors by pushing Loma at the weigh-in. That made Haney the bad guy in the eyes of the public. On top of that, you have Loma as the underdog, you have the pro-Ukraine storyline. There were a lot of reasons why the fans were pulling for Loma. It was hard not to root for Loma given everything in play.
