Not only should he have won a world title, brilliant fighter. But the reason for the thread is to get some light as to why Moore isn’t getting serious accolades. He’s fighters ALWAYS have solid game plans, turn up ready and the advice in between rounds are delivered perfect. Reads a fight and fighter better than most. Chantelle Cameron unbelievable performance, and not to harp on but the Catterall game plan was outrageously impressive. Moore and he’s team are incredible
Tbf i think he gets what he deserves. He got trainer of the year and gets loads of respect In the boxing community. For me he seems to be a bit of an all rounder as far as trainer goe. Doesn't seem to stick out in any one area, hes a good all round analyst, technical coach, mentor and motivater but if there is one area he excels in its definitely that hes known to give a lot of love to his fighters. He's not the home trainer like Simms for MR , McGuigan Boxxer etc but all in I reckon he gets the respect. Him and Nigel can be immature at times if there's one finger I have to point, it's probably more so Travis but that's just the way he is. That alone can take pressure away from fighters sometimes, the fact that they can have a laugh, especially as they get closer to fights. So maybe I can't even point the finger for that. Frampton always said they were the best to train with.
Boxers seem to enjoy fighting for them and but they also get decent talent to work with. Frampton, Murray, Cameron and Catterall were all at a decent standard when they came to him-Frampton it could be argued was past his best.
I like Moorsey, enjoyed his book and his career, but agree with this. That Travis is creepy looking too.
Bunch of hypocrites. Moore whinges about the state of boxing but is good mates with Kinahan. The latest stuff where they/Cameron got Scotney kicked off the undercard but their moral high ground disappears when it comes to their friendship with Kinahan sums them up. When Cameron beat McCaskill in Abu Dhabi last year Anthony Fitzpatrick was in the ring with her. He manages Cameron and is one of Kinahan’s main associates. He even lived in one of his houses until it was seized by the Criminal Assets Bureau.
100 per cent. Talks about him and Travis wanting to help the community. Then takes £300k from DK after getting shot in his gaff, and spends years trying to legitimise a drug cartel. Great trainer, awful hypocrite. Deserves nothing.
Agree with all the Kinahan stuff. Their boxers seem to have fun and enjoy all 'The Secret' bollocks that Moore comes out with it 'see it, believe it, achieve it'. Frampton might have had good fun pulling down people's shorts but he was never the same after joining that gym.
Wouldn’t take anything Frampton says about Moore/McGuigan seriously. He could have trained with Mr Blobby and would say he’s a better trainer than McGuigan.
